• New shop opens at Heritage Court, Dinnington

Eastwood Homes is delighted to welcome new business Dynomodels to the Heritage Court retail centre in Dinnington.

Owner Adam Pope has opened his specialist RC Model Shop selling radio controlled models, parts and accessories. The shop includes a wide range of RC Models ranging from first time beginner models to the more advanced specialist models for the serious hobbyist.  

The shop stocks cars, monster trucks, boats, planes, helicopters, quadcopters and motorbikes ranging in price from £20 to over £1000, so there is plenty to choose from and something to suit everyone.

Adam has been involved in the RC hobby since he was 9 years old and became hooked when he was taken to an indoor RC flying club and hasn’t looked back since.  What started off being a passionate hobby turned into a dream to open his own RC model shop and, thanks to the support of his parents, Rotherham Youth Enterprise and Eastwood Homes’ MD Michael Eastwood, Adam’s dream has now come true!

Shop owner Adam comments: ‘’I have chosen the area as I am from Dinnington.  I have lived here from being about 2 years old and went to Dinnington Comprehensive School.  I know the area well and many of the people who live here.  It is also very central for my customers who travel from all over South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. 

Heritage Court appealed to me as it is easy to find, being very close to the motorway network, and on the main through road to Dinnington. It also has good parking facilities and a nice new modern shopping complex. I remember driving past when it was being built and saying to my Mum that it was going to be my model shop - little did I know at the time how true that statement was going to be!’’

Michael Eastwood added: “I would personally like to wish Adam a warm welcome to Heritage Court, and I’m sure Dynomodels will be a tremendous success.”
